Hi Guys,

Wonder if someone can help with this one......
Since running the latest up, my contact list has gone weird. I have lost a few contacts for starters, and when i get a call from any one of those contacts, it will show as "Doctors" calling. Doesn't matter who it is, will come up as doctors! Slightly weird, as doctors is one of the contacts that has been lost. The other thing, is if you look through the call log afterwards, the calls show as being from one of the other lost contact who have also disappeared from the contacts list!
Done a security wipe and reloaded a backup from 2 weeks ago and still the same!
Any ideas?

As far as a restore...are your contacts saved within your email account? Don't restore and have them populate again. That should fix it. Or delete your contacts and let the email sync them. That's what I do with my gmail account.

What type of accounts do you have?

Check your contacts and look for a small Chain-Link icon. Some of your contacts probably got LINKED together. LINKing will hide some contacts and they will show up as their LINKed counterparts. Happened to me - my sister disappeared but showed up in some contexts. She was wrongly linked with another contact. (I've actually started a thread on the issue)

PS...... If it helps anyone else, im pretty sure all the contact linked were from my old sim card which i had to dump when i upgraded to the Z10
