Ok, after seeing a Classic, how many of you that own a z10 would like to see an all touch device with a tool belt?

The point is you would be happy with tge touch keyboard but want the track pad and physical send and end buttons.

I am using a z10 now but those are the things I miss most. I will probably get a classic in a few months. As cool as the passport is, I think the classic is more practical for me.

    +1

Besides, the Classic is for people who obsess over the fractions of seconds between typing on glass and physical keys.

The z10 is good just the way it is. I too used to be obsessed with the toolbelt but bb10 has made me forget it even existed.

The tool belt is a step back I'm my opinion. Gestures are so innovative and fluid.

I too agree...not sure if a tool belt is needed on an all touch device.

There are only four things I miss about the tool belt.

    1) Answering a call. Nothing as simple as hitting a button.
    2) Hanging up a call. See above.
    3) Moving the cursor around in a TXT box. I'm anxious to use the Passport to see how this is implemented.
    4) Moving the cursor around and selecting on a Web page. I'm also anxious to see how this is done on a Passport.

While there are ways to do this on the touch screen it isn't as easy to accomplish.

As I stated above these are the things I miss. No need to flame me for them.

I went from a Torch to Z10. At first I missed the track pad and buttons. Didn't take long to get used to the Z and I love it. Fast, smooth, and so far I have had no issues with this phone. I bought it on the release day with Verizon March of 2013.

    I already own one.

Nice flame without calling it that.

Can think of nothing worse. Z10 is an all touch. Lets keep it that way.
Answering a call is simple. The screen will light up and you either swipe left to answer or swipe right to decline. Or just let it ring off to voicemail.

There are not many 'true' full touch phones on the market, most have a home and/or back button and I love my Z10 the way it is as I think I can vouch for most that they do also.

Wondering the same. Google images brought up a belt for screw driver, hammer etc. I didn't know our Z10 was as rigid as a Nokia Lumia.

The only thing I want from the tool belt is the trackpad for text editing. The rest belong back in BBOS and would be out of place in BB10.

I think BlackBerry should have 8 device lines: Q10 and Classic, Z10 and Z30, Z10 with Tool belt, z30 with Tool belt, Passport, and Portrait Slider with Tool Belt.

Compromise position would be 6 device lines: Z10 without Tool Belt only and z30 with tool belt only.

I have no doubt that those six lines could be profitable, albeit not 100% markup like iPhones or Galaxy phones, so long as they don't overproduce.

Everybody can have the device form factor they want.

Manage the product releases to be biannual and make the followup device a real huge leap technically, and accept trade ups from last model, then refurbish and sell as lower tier products.

Even Apple acknowledges that a diverse product line is what users want.
