    For some peculiar reason my z10 cannot pick up the Rogers tower on this ski hill. My wife's iPhone 4s also on Rogers is fine -- I can pick up the Bell/Telus towers but emergency only. Don't get it -- anyone seen this? Once we get off the ski road and back on the Trans Canada reception is back to 5 bars.

    Found my problem while skiing yesterday -- the Rogers tower at the hill is 2G only and I had my z10 set to receive 3G and above (doh!). Don't know why the default isn't to "all": but maybe it is and I picked the wrong option when turning wireless back on after an overseas trip.

    2G??? Good god that's horrible service now a days.

    Time to jump ship and move to Bellus. You'll probably get at minimum 3G HSPA service.
