As I said, my z10 only send sms if I send to the number, but I receive in international format, is annoying. I live in CUBA, so if i have to send a sms i send to 54804121 and receive the Message as +5354804121, if change the smart dialing not send at all, somebody can help me???

Make sure your settings are correct for your carrier.

You have a CDMA phone, so was it branded to a US company, Sprint or Verizon? I assume you are using the GSM "side" of a dual mode phone?

Mine Z10/STL100-2 has no problem for sms international or local format. May you try, After change smart dialing, do device reset by long hold up/ down volumes button ,until appear BlackBerry logo and then release! Good luck.

Yes, is a Verizon z10, the apn was solved via engineering menu, but I cant find any solution for sms problem

PD, here we only have Cubacel, no other provider, work in GSM 900mhz band, data on GPRS.

Have you spoken with Cubacel about this issue?

BTW, can you get 2G on this phone in Cuba? Not sure if you need it, but not sure the 100-4 will work on 2G there.

Yeah, is working on 2G perfectly, about Cubacel, ja ja ja, nobody care about that, they said that they dont support BlackBerry. if nobody know a workaround im stuck.

They say they don't support BlackBerry 10 I can receive sms perfectly but I can't send it regardless if I send it to with our without the country code.

Benbraun322, an almost-fix in cuba is set in inteligent dialer USA +1 and when i going to send a sms send it directly to te recipient number. Example, in cuba 54312112 is a cel number, but the sms come from +53 54312112 so, if you send to 54312112 work fine, but when this person write back you receive the Message from +53..... that is the problem. Just try this workaround. Is annoying, but is the only thing that is working for me now

Hola rolandoja2003, como le explicaba al amigo de Israel yo aqu� medio he resuelto el problema fijando Estados Unidos en el marcado inteligente y entonces escribiendo los sms sin c�digo de mi pa�s, pero los recibo con ese c�digo, entonces tengo los contactos dobles, por ejemplo

Reinier-llamadas +5353657812
Reinier-enviarSMS 53657812
Donde +53 es el c�digo de cuba

Seria interesante resolver esto, pasa con los tel�fonos Sprint y Verizon en cuba de modo que algo tiene que ver con que sean CDMA el apn de Internet se cambia por engineering screen pero el de MMS no lo he encontrado..
