Just bought myself a second z10 for business use and on the first day at the office I left it on the roof of my car.
When starting to drive I was just listening to some voice mails when the Bluetooth connection dropped.
At first I thought, hmmzz dead battery, but then I realised it was still on the roof (while driving on the free way). I backtracked as fast as I could to find my business Z...and found it! screen was undamaged, the body took some scratches, the battery and the backdoor were run over a couple of times for sure (can see the tire marks on them).
BUT : put the ditched battery and the cover back together and the Z is up and running! Must be good karma!

I dunno if I would use that battery if I were you. A crushed battery could damage the phone or even you.

That's one way to test the Bluetooth range!!!!!!!!!!

You are lucky. As suggested, maybe using a potentially damaged lithium battery is not a good idea. Or get a very long extension cord and charge it in a gun safe - oh, the battery outside of the phone!
