As a previous iPhone user, did you know that iPhones need to be restarted every now and again?
My friend's iPhone 4 wouldn't play music while another app was in the foreground (even if everything else was off)

I said it before and I'll say it again, as long as phones keep using RAM, there will be a need for Hard Resets.
I can't remember the last time I turned off my Trophy. I've had the thing almost two years and have probably turned it off 10 times, total. Most of those being from the battery totally dying. Phone never lags.

Phone/Settings/Contacts are bumpier compared to the core OS. From what I read, it was made with Adobe AIR (don't quote me on this one) and it is sluggish (even for me). On top, if your Phone application has many Contact links from external sites (Facebook, LinkedIn, Twitter) and loading them would slow it down a bit. If you Internet/WiFi is not optimum, that would just add to it.
I have heard that the phone and settings are the worse part of the OS basically. Everything else is pretty good in terms of quickness. The demo i played with at BestBuy didnt have any issues but then again its only been turned on for 2 hours and no other apps installed.

I found this to be true so far as well. I was having other issues but they were due to android ports acting a fool. Why the did the Android emulator thing befuddles me. Screws up more than it helps in the end.

Battery pull option is NOT needed don't tell people this.

Phone and settings app are poorly written it is well known. Search the forums.

For now clear your call logs and it will be quick as new.

    Cheers

I suppose the number of contacts matter? 10 vs 300?

I've got about 600. I hope it's not the number of contacts... and certainly hope I don't have to clear my call logs to get it running smoothly...

The Phone app as they say was not written on cascade but on Adobe air that's why it is slow when you have many contacts try to hide contacts that you don't use like twitter contacts perhaps?

    Posted via CB10
Interesting. Why don't they program the Phone App using native cascade?

I would take it back. Shouldn't be lagging. Might be a problem with something else like the battery overheating.
