    So i did a full backup of my device and it did take awhile and then loaded a new OS onto my z10. Went to restore it and everything went fine but i dont see my texts and or my contacts?

    Texts should have saved. Contacts you have to save on a cloud server. Like Gmail.

    Next time you reload the OS try restoring one thing at a time (i.e. Settings, then media, then app data)

    They arent backed up through link. You have to save them through gmail

    Contacts I got back through Gmail. So that's fine. I just find it frustrating it never restored my texts :s

    It takes a while after the restore "completes" for texts and contacts to populate
