Does anybody know how to stop the Notifications from the NY Times or any third party application from the z10? I loaded the NY Times app, then started receiving useless Notifications from them (like random text, then useless stories). I removed the app thinking that would stop the Notifications. I went to their site to see if there were any settings to stop them from coming. I emailed them to ask them to stop. I powered down the device. Nothing stops these annoying messages. At least I have figured out to stop the sound, vibration, and LED from letting me know there is a NY Times Notification, but they still keep coming. HELP!

Yes...turn off the push notifications in the app.

there is. in the app, swipe from above then choose settings, turn off push notifications

I deleted the app and they stopped.

Did you skip the intro when you first booted the phone, mate? A lot of native apps have extra options when you swipe from the top.
