I turned on device encryption on my Z10 and decided to restart it...that was over 40 mins ago. Is this normal reboot time when encryption is turned on?

Another hour has gone by and my Z10 is stuck at 98%. Should I do a battery pull or continue to wait? Has anyone experienced anything like this?

This won't appear useful, but I am having the same problem, my Z10 is stuck at 99%. Hopefully there is someone out there in the crackberry world that can offer some sage advice.

That should not happen.

I've it really has been stuck for a very long time - or is overheating, the only realistic choice you have is to reboot.


Try via the power button, e.g. by keeping it pressed.

My suggestion is to wait and *not* to do a battery pull or anything like that.
Make sure the phone is plugged in to a power source.

Just ouf of curiosity, how much data is on your phone? Photos, videos, music etc.
