I have a problem sending emails with attachments on Z10. After trying for hours the clock turns round and eventually a no entry red sign appears. Problem is even worse without Wifi. I have checked with ISP, O2 phone network & searched for a solution on net. So far nothing although others have same issue. Dear Crackberry, can you help please?

What is the size of the attachment you are trying to send? Are you OK sending emails without an attachment?

You might want to tell what model phone, what OS is on it? How large is the attachment? Have you tried move times?

    You can also try rebooting

    Try a restart:

Press and HOLD both Vol Up/Down buttons. Keep holding while the screen goes fully black, keep holding through the Black/White logo and when the Colored Logo shows up, release those buttons.

If you have the STL100-1 variant the volume button reset method doesn't work. In that case, Press and HOLD the Power On Button until you see the LOGO as above

Tried Re booting both ways, normal and volume buttons but no improvement. My OS is OS10, software 10.2 and model 100-2 The size of attachments are 600kb plus which give rise to this type of problems. My Z10 was purchased at launch in UK.

Who or what domain does the recipient use (you don't have to be specific) but could it be on the receiving end. What is the attachment? Photo? doc? Other?

It could be any recipient. Does not send with any type of attachment. I am absolutely fed up with phone as often I am on the move and need to send docs and photos with email from construction sites. Is there any direct phone contact with BlackBerry who can help? If it carries on I will swap phone for iPhone in two months when our company contract ends. I have been on blackberry for 7 years.

From my understanding iPhone is extremely limited in sending attachments so that is not the solution, just check the i site from mobile nations. There is an issue with your device or os. I have no issues sending attachments on my Z10STL100-3/10.2.0.1791. Hope someone can help you trouble shoot.

Another question - is this a personal phone or a BUSINESS phone where someone in IT might be limiting what can be done with it?

Have you ever been able to send attachments or has it never worked?

F2, it is a business phone. This function has never worked unless the attachment is very small, less than 600kb. On my Bold I was able to send large files with no problem whatsoever. I have even purchased a used Z10 and tried it on there once I loaded the backup on it. Same problem persisted. O2 network in UK are unhelpful and my ISP Zen Internet are saying everything from their end is okay. I am surprised no one from blackberry wants to help.

I guess I meant, is your phone controlled by a Corporation where they or their tech support may be limiting things you can do with the phone?

Or is this just your personal business phone.

I've been sending pictures and some other larger files without issues. Verizon in the States.
