    hey guys I have my Z10 for about 4 months now. It's on 10.1 still. Sometimes it makes popping and crackling noises. Sounds like an audio input being removed or plugged in to your entertainment system. Other than that it works fine. But it's so weird.
    Has anyone else experienced this?

    Did the device get dropped or exposed to moisture? Sounds like a problem with the speaker itself. You SHOULD be covered by warranty. Contact your service provider for repair or replaced.

    Never dropped or exposed to moisture. The noise happens when there is no audio playing. Happened this morning while closing active frames. Phone and regular audio is perfect.

    I had this problem and then it got worse to the point that no one could hear me. I sent the phone in for repairs through Telus to blackberry and they fixed the Speaker. Worst part was having to use an iPhone as a loaner for ten days!
