Just got an update to the Z10...22:40 MST via BB Link.

Oh TELUS. Not only does your email take 10 minutes to hit my phone, but you may be using pre-release OS's. Awesome. It's the telco you keep in the attic and feed fish heads in a bucket.

Actually I just read in another thread that people on Rogers are also getting notification via Link of an "update" to 10.0.9.349 even though that is what they already have. So it's not a Telus issue, apparently it is a Link issue.

That might make sense. I installed the new version of link today...maybe that has something to do with it

Yeah Ive been getting that same thing too on Link, it shows a new update but it's the same version even after you install it... New Link is bugged :S

I on Telus in Alberta and receive my emails in seconds (timed it at approx 41 secs). Did you set email up using advanced features and active synch ? If not do so, it DRASTICALLY improves the email delivery time.

Same here...is it possible that there's just updated default apps within it or something?

Got my phone today, but no new software updates.

The update is also for BB Link
I think it was just trying to push out the same update again (not sure why).

I seem to get this update from BB Link only after I've deleted a carrier's (Rogers) app from my phone. I now just leave them installed and put them in their own folder where they cant bother me and I haven't been prompted for an update since.

The notification will come up in link if you remove any pre installed applications such as Facebook, Twitter, Foursquare, etc. It's not an update, just pushes the software back on to the device.

i'm on Koodo and i'm getting the same update over and over again. I was bored last night, watching the Leafs loose, so did the uptdate 6 times. Nothing changes, and I don't find it tied to any app deleted or updated. It would finish installing, reboot, reconnect to link and sure enough, there's the update again. One thing i notice. After the first update, my Z10 is a lot sluggish then what it used to be. Maybe it's just me.

I'm factory unlocked, in the UK and my carrier is GiffGaff (Telefonica are the parent company).
My version is: Z10STL100-2/10.0.9.2372 and I've not been alerted via Link of an update.
