Well, my Z10 went for an extended underwater swim (about 3-5 minutes) in the Ocean on the weekend. After letting it dry out for about 30 hours, I turn it on and......it works!!! I was amazed. I thought it would be dead for sure. The only issues are that the volume down key and the external speaker no longer work, but who actually turns down their music and wants to hear when someone calls them! Everything is otherwise acting normal. The build quality must be great.

However, as it is my work phone and I do need to hear when someone calls I have to replace it. I'm looking at buying a new unlocked one from the Blackberry Store ($299). Does anyone have recommendations for where else to buy a new one off contract (in Canada)?
