Z10 now $99 at Amazon Wireless AT&T and Verizon flavors

If you bought one through Amazon recently you should be able to get $50 credit by calling their customer service or contacting them via their other support methods as Jay Brit did.

Amazon Wireless 1-877-429-8502 seven days a week from 7 a.m. to 11 p.m. Central Time, or via e-mail at [email protected].

*UPDATE* Price drop only for new customers, thanks Kat0908

If you're on the fence this might help you 'through the door'.

I upgraded when the price dropped this past Sunday, I just tried calling to receive a price adjustment but the rep told me it is only for New Lines so until the price drops for Upgrades as well then I can not get the credit.

This promotion is only for new customers.

Don't over think it. This is a good thing. BlackBerry is probably saying, why spend $199 (Apple iOS) to get a Smartphone when you can get a top of the line for cheaper.

    Keep Moving

Its nice to see BB allowing for a real competitive price on the Z10, 99.00 is awesome on any carrier for the z10.

Here at work we have been getting free Z10's like mad from AT&T and Verizon ... never has this happened with any other device. Not sure if they are selling well or what the deal is. Android/iOS never gave us free phones for Verizon & ATT lol

Not complaining though... I was the beneficiary of a free Z10

Does anyone know if I would have to pay the deposit fee through Amazon to open a new line like I do for Verizon?

A deposit is normally based on a credit score, no?

Amazon dropped the price, not blackberry. Nothing to worry about.

    No, it's a $99 deposit. The phone costs $531.22.

Note that the $99 price is for a new line of service. If you choose the "upgrade my phone" radio button the price goes up to $139. That is of course still less than $199, but not half off.

I just got mine on Verizon's launch day March 28 for $199. How many people have been able to get this elusive credit?

Can't hurt to try. They are not obligated to credit you after price drops so treat it as a bonus if you get one.

Phone is $140 for upgrades, so ask for $60 and not $100.

Thanks i'll give them a call tonight. I know they arent obligated to give me the credit but it would only be nice as a customer for over 10+years. I havent even gotten my Z10 yet, it comes today in the mail. Since i ordered it on a Friday its taking a bit more time than expected. :/

Motivation is Amazon trying to undercut the competition and get people to purchase from them. It's not a conspiracy, and no, the Z10 is not doomed. Sheesh.

Did you upgrade with Amazon? Carriers 99 times out of 100 will not price match. So if you upgraded with your carrier I wouldn't get your hopes up.
