    I set my notifications to the max volume, but when I lower the system volume, my notifications still come through at max volume, it seems only phone calls are affected by system volume. Shouldn't notification volume reduce with system volume reduction?

    I would think it should, maybe a software bug? Every device I have ever had functions in the way you think it should

    Go to main volume in settings and turn " always adjust media volume" to off. I have it on 10.1 is it? 10.0 too
