Anyone coming to the Z10 from the Note 2?
Next phone - Galaxy Note 2 or Z10? Input from Note 2 users would be helpful!
Lots of honest, not-so-honest and completely uninformed answers are already available. - 03-09-2013, 10:20 AM

Ok could be silly and to ask on here... i love both actually but from the way things are till now i would go more for the note 2..
Got more apps that are not yet on the z10.
More advantage so far i think.
Although z10 is an amazing phone, but no apps in it compared to note 2

I have the Note...The note 2 is alot better for sure (fluid OS) but looks alot like a GS3... Z10 is the first device i saw, held and loved! The Note is a device that had to grow on me...

Well you got to choose the device that will best serve your needs! The apps will come though...just a bit of patience required in this aspect (It's not BBRY that is responsible for this but the Devs). The US launch is nearing and you can be assured that alot of the "must have" apps will be released prior to this!

I went from a BB to the Note 2. It does take a bit of getting used to, but now I wouldn't be without it. Yes, there are issues, but not as much as with BB. I was an early adopter of the PB and now the Z10 appears to be following in the PBs footsteps. Will give BB another look in a couple of years and see where things stand. Ultimately, try both and the decision as which is best depends on which is right for you - for me GN2

Imo, the note is too big. The z10 is just the right size

You ask here it's going to be Z10.
Ask on android central and it's going to be Note 2.

Yeah, i think the Note 2 is better than my original note... running ICS is a huge improvement from Gingerbread... but it still sucks lol... Anyways, let's not talk about my spare phone (my 9900 used to be in my other pocket at all times!) Now the Z10 goes solo, no tag alongs!!
I also never liked the way Android is updated... it's an insane waiting game. Atleast with BB it'll be across the board in most instances (+/- a few days) in comparison to Android... - 03-09-2013, 10:49 AM #20
If buying today, Note 2. If you have six months to see if the BB app environment does better than it did with the Playbook, then Z10. Be aware, the size of the Note 2 becomes addicting...

I would never go with a Note at all. Not to hate, but it's too big and very inconvenient to carry around. I'm sure it must be great for media consumption and browsing, but still, very physically restrictive or limiting.
I wouldn't want to carry around a phone that doesn't fit in my pocket... that's asking for trouble.
Consider not just the OS, but the whole implication of choosing one over the other. Personally, if I didn't have my Z10, and was considering a new phone, it would come down to the BlackBerry and probably a Galaxy instead of the Note.
Just a thought.
