My Z10 bogs down at anywhere from about 60% to 80% when loading a web page from the browser and gets stuck. Naturally, I am not used to this as normally it's very snappy. Mobile sites load, although a little slower than I'm accustomed. I've cleared the cache and history in the browser, cleared out old emails, texts, ect., but still the same. I have 4.2 GB of storage remaining, and have done a battery pull. What did I do to my phone??...any suggestions?

You cleared the browser and cache which screwed up the browser. One second while I find the link for the fix.

Check this thread, half way down I posted a link. After you follow those steps do a hard reboot by holding the volume rockers down till the blue bb symbol comes up ignoring the screen shot.

Sorry, I forgot to mention: VZW 10.1.0.2151, STL 100-4.....yeah, still 10.1.... I clear the history and cache regularly though, but I will certainly check this out. Thanks!

No go....tried it twice. Mobile sites seem to load, except for Crackberry. Although, I was able to access your post in what appeared to be the full site through the link you posted. I've also noticed I am unable to stop pages from loading by taping the "x" in the address window, and I am unable to close tabs by tapping the "x". It just goes back to the page. Very weird. I have had no issues at all with the browser until now.

I tried several site, and some work like normal. Even site with a lot going on, but some just get stuck. Sites I've visited regularly. This is just weird... The browser does work, but it's getting stuck on certain sites..

I had never cleared cache and stuff and only did so because my Google was getting redirected and showed the robot saying it was unable to connect. I cleared it that day and experienced the browser issue. I searched the forum and found this solution which I did the first time as outlined with no reboot and the issue was still there. I did it a second time with a hard reboot and it cleared the issue up. My bff had the problem a few weeks after me and it worked for her as well. You should try http://m.crackberry.com/how-get-os-102-update-right-now and get the non destructive 10.2 install.

I ended up doing a security wipe and now the browser works. I have been doing some reading on how to install a leaked OS...any suggestions? Sounds like it's fairly easy with BB10.

It happens to me sometimes as well. I just close the browser and then open it again. Works like a charm. Sometimes after repeating this process twice. It shouldn't have anything to do with your cache or history (although it just might be the case in your situation), I delete these all the time (privacy freak) and have never experienced a problem with that.

You can test this by clearing your cache again and see if the problem occurs. I think you should be fine.

There is a known issue! I never cleared cache and when I did it crippled my browser. My friend clears hers all the time and never had an issue and one day crippled hers too.

The security wipe fixed my browser issue, but also unexpectedly fixed my earpiece speaker issue. I have not done a restore as of yet because I don't want to restore the settings that may have caused my issues in the first place. Is there a way to pick and choose? Specifically, I'm most concerned with restoring my contacts in full and my BB Maps info.
