Been using the latest leak 10.2.1.1055 for more than a week and since last 3-4 days have observed that my z10 is not charging beyond 90%. I'm on stl-100-1. Anyone help?

Normally that happens with different os, you must when that happens unplug the device and plug it again, that will make charge all the way and do that some days if happens again, let the battery drain also and you will get it ok

I've been stuck at 95 before, left it on the charger and restarted it and in about 10 minutes it was at 100.

Like someone else mentioned, restart the device.

I say when you go to bed this evening, restart the device, then connect it to a charger (via the wall, NOT a computer), and see what happens in the morning...

Did unplug the device and again plugged it in, no it remained at 90.

Yes for two days it froze at 95 and then settling it at 90 for now 3-4 days.

Yes, haven't tried restarting it, will do that, or should i go for battery pull?

Lol!!! I read somewhere here that letting it die out and then charging it calibrates it. perhaps give it a shot.

yes i did, still same thing, and a, on the latest os leak.

This is a known issue with some 1055 installs. Pull the battery and leave it out for a full hour. Put battery back in and restart the phone. It's a issue with the phone showing the proper charge level not the phone actually not charging all the way to 100%. Your battery is actually fully charged. This seems to happen on only a few installs but mostly when you restore from Link. That's why most after a leak install security wipe the phone (OS not effected) then install everything from scratch. Pain in the **** but gives less issues. Good luck.

I did security wipe post installing the leak, but i did also restored my device with the help of link post security wipe. Y'day i let it drained to zero, and then kept sim and battery out for 10-15 mins and then again plugged it in, but now even further reduced to 84%.

Anyhow, thanks for suggestion, will now put the battery out for an hour. But when taking it out, it should be completely drained or just take it out at any time?

Ok discharged my battery twice and pulled out sim and battery for at least couple of hours and then again put it back in and charged it completely but once again did not reached 100% and now stopped at 81%.
Guys all your suggestions not working. HELP HELP HELP.

This definetly worked out for me, but i had to downgrade to os10.1.... But my battery does not last more than 4hrs if on the edge network and like 3hrs on the 3g network

Friends,

This is a very know issue if your are using Blackberry Z10 STL00-1 and i think this has nothing to do with the latest OS 10.2.1.1055. Because i am using Blackberry Z10 (STL00-1) 10.2.0.1791 and i use to face the same issue.
My took guidance from many experts but it did not worked for me.
So i went to the Blackberry expert center for the solution. And there i explained them the problem with evidence (by plugging my Z10 to a wall charger). My Z10 even at Blackberry Expert Center did not went beyond 89% and surprising they were not ready to accept the fact.
So i told them to try and charge my phone using their own battery and at that point their battery also got stuck at 95% as usual. But after 15-20min the charging automatically continued from 95% and reached 100%.
Later on i plugged my Z10 with my own battery and miraculously my battery got charged to 100%. Touch wood from that day i have not face this problem again till date. This problem may again reoccur in future.
So i am not sure whether this a hardware or a software issue. This is still a mystery for me.
