So I left my phone charging, got a message, was about to reply and my screen went dark blue. Plugged out my phone and it restarted on it own. Came on and I resumed charging it. Checked it a few mins later and it was unresponsive. Took out the battery, put it back in and the red light won't even come on...
I'm so upset. Amazon, Ebay nor aliexpress have the motherboard. Local shops are all out.

What to do?
Will I ever be able to get my contacts?
My password keeper passwords?

Why don't have try connecting the device to BlackBerry link and update the phone.

Di you have stl100-1 z10? I got problem too. The 1 version has lots of problems

Sorry to hear.

Did you ever backup with Link or did your, save contacts to SIM, or have contacts sync with an email account service?

I know it's probably no the case but is the battery connection clean? I'm not sure if it's at all safe to try and I'll let somebody chime in, but one time I had trouble starting my Z10 up, and it wouldn't do anything, I put it on the charger with the battery removed, then inserted the battery and it started charging again, but I didn't have a blue screen. Hope you figure something out soon!

same thing happened to me last night!

i think i was browsing the internet and then my screen went blue. i thought blue screen of death.

it rebooted by itself and started up. i started to pick up where i left off and then the screen went mostly purple and had some artifacts along the left side of the screen maybe a pixel or two deep.

then i tried to restart and nothing. i plugged it in and nothing.

if i removed the battery and plugged it in the LED would be red but flicker a little.

I connected it to the computer, nada.
Many techs saying I'd need a new phone indeed.
Contacts were only linked to comp so hoping whenever the last time I connected, I didn't add anyone new.

Guess time to look for something new.
