I bought a z10 before 5 days and i keep loosing connection ... It's weirded what happens is that when the mobile go on sleep mode or if i close the cover of the z10 after a while if someone calls me i can hear the gone ringing but when I pick up its like mute .... Also if i call someone i can't hear the gone ringing and when they pick up its like a mute ... The only way to fix it is restarting the z10 .... I wiped the data twice and instill have the same issue ... Every day i restart the z10 twice ... Also the alarm stops ringing when this happens ... It's like a silent mode ... I read in the threads that someone had a similar problem with the alarm not ringing and he is loosing connection .... When contacted the mobile place he mentioned that many are facing the same issue ... Whats your take on that ? I use etisalat in dubai

Sound like you have a hardware problem. The issues you mentioned were strange. An exchange could be the solution you needed.

I am not i don't use 4g ... It's either 3g2g or 2g only but the problem exists

I am using my phone on O2 Germany , and i have the same issue. Suddenly the connection gets lost (BB logo). But after a while it comes back on its own.

I dont think this is an issue with carrier, coz it happens on wifi too.

I usually use the silent with vibration and these issues happens if i charge the z10 and while charging use wifi ... The fine becomes completely like a mute mode ... It's very strange even if i raise the tone it doesn't ring but if someone calls me i receive the call and when I answer no one can hear the other ... My signal is always 3-4 bars ... Never had any issues in signals before ....

I don't know if we are having the same problem but I have looked at my phone twice now and it shows I have an incoming call that it not ringing and then when I try to answer or decline the phone freezes and I have to reset. When it comes back on, my phone shows no record of the call. One of the times it was my dad and I called him back after my phone reset and he did in fact call me even though there is no call record in my phone.

Yes Grevan ... This is what happens to me ... My brother bought a z10 and didn't notice it too ... Then i told him charge your mobile and open the wifi together and then the z10 goes to mute mode ... I missed work because the alarm didn't ring that day .... And you need to restart ... Another issue is that there is a bug in the contacts ... Sometimes if you try to check your contacts the list will be empty ... I like the fone but with these bugs it's really annoying me ...

My Z10 also looses its connection. For a few seconds it tells me only emergency calls and then the connection comes back. Seems that a very little number of phones habe this issue. I am using Vodafone Germany. The german newspapaer FAZ mentions this problem in their article about the Z10.
Has anybody a solution or shall i send it back to Vodafone for a replace?

My phone also loses connection and I get emergency calls only for a few seconds then it comes back. However, I think it's because of the network here losing 3g signal quite often.

This also happens to me regularly, like when I have the phone plugged into my car sometimes it will be randomly on mute when I call or I can't hear anything yet the call will be ongoing. Doesn't always happen in the car but also happens at other times too.

I dont think it is a hardware issue!! I have changed 3 sets 2 STL100-1 and and now STL100-2 and i have similar problem in all of them

I swtiched my networkmodus from "4g and 3g and 2g" to "3g and 2g" and didn't recognize a connection loss for one hour.
