Alright folks, I didn't see any thread talking about this problem, which stated to make me think about moving on to the Q10
the problem I'm facing is that the keyboard is up but no working, you can see the letter and start typing but nothing appears, not a single letter or number it's like you're not even typing? It always come when I'm trying to edit a word or something and I can't fix this till I reboot my Z10? I was facing this problem on 10 and now on the 10.1 leak!
Is there anyone facing the same problem? any solutions?

I corrected this problem completely by deleting Whatsapp. Never had it again.

Yes I'm sure, nothing happens when you type, this is frustrating

I had this a couple of times so I rebooted which fixed it.

Yeah I have WhatsApp installed on my Z10, you're saying that if I deleted the WhatsApp this problem will be solved?

I would tap my finger in the text space I'm trying to type in a second time just to ensure it registered and then try to type again. You more than likely did that but I figured it was worth saying.

What's the hurt to uninstalling it to see? It's easy to reinstall isn't it?

I've had the same issue on several of my Z10's. Each time I would have to restart or press and hold the power button for 10-15 seconds until it would reboot. It's rather annoying but not an everyday thing for me.

This is definitely a software issue.
Seems like your OS is bogged down by something.
I have Whatsapp but I don't have this problem at all, mind you I have always been on the latest leaks
This is definitely not normal This is the first I've heard of this
Sorry this has happened to you.
I would definitely reload the whole OS without restoring if deleting whatsapp doesn't work
See if it is still the case with a clean OS

The prediction is working fine for me, but the swipe function minimizes the working app too easily when trying to swipe the predicted word from the space bar.

Yes, I'm facing this since day 1, on both 10 and the 10.1
tried to relaod OS and nothing, the problem is still there

Mmm. It happened once for me. I pushed the keyboard down, selected the text input field again, and everything worked. I agree that it's frustrating.

Just the keyboard all other screens work? As in you can navigate throughout your BlackBerry Just fine?

If you're running word to go this problem is present as well. Until you close it at least.

Happened to me quite often. Try the steps in this link. It fixed my issue. Used to happen every day and now it's fine.

Exactly! That's the same as the link I posted above. I'd vote for this.

In the link BlackBerry also states it is a known issue.

I had this happen to me over the weekend. I believe it was caused by me installing a foreign language android app from BBW.

I ended up having to do a device software reload in BlackBerry Link, redownload all my apps and then a restore from my backup to get back my data.

Lost the ability for the Hub to get notifications from BBW on app updates though, so I'm going to do all that again.

So the screen sensitivity is fine. Definitely software related.
Since you're loading the same software as everyone else, I would NOT restore after OS install to prevent any errors from being restored and go from there
