Please help!

Im having a problem with my z10, i updated my z10 to the latest OS software update, but the phone froze at the BBM icon startup at 100%progress and i waited a hour or more for it to open but it didnt! , i had to battery pull and then the phone worked, after that i had a notification saying that my z10 update couldnt be done, from this point whenever i open my contacts app and i cant make a call! When i type in the number to make a call it dosent call anyone at all , I also didnt back up my phone, so what am i supposed to do? And thx

Hi, welcome to CB!

What OS are you currently running? If it didn't update you can try a reload via BBLink...

Open BBLink and connect the device via USB
Select settings
Select reload (under Reload Device Software)
Follow on-screen instructions.

Im using 10.1.0.273 , also, how can i get the BlackBerry link? And what do reloading do?? Also, updating the phone via computer will make the phone freeze once switched on?

Reloading the OS is basically starting from fresh... (the state where you first got the phone and had to do the initial setup...) for more info you can read this article How to reload the OS on a BlackBerry Z10 or BlackBerry Q10 | CrackBerry.com

Once you reload the OS, you shouldn't have any issues (it should not freeze once switched on) just follow the instructions and be patient! Let us know how it goes.

One more thing. After i reload the phone will it delete every program and i have to re install them again?

Yeah, you'll have to re-install apps etc. (unless you backup your device then restore... but seeing as you have some issues, it may be best starting from fresh!)
