Which OS version are you on now?

From your post, I can't tell if you actually mean a hard reset or not. Hard reset is basically a restart to refresh phone a bit, a "deeper" restart. Is that all you're looking for?

Press top key and keep holding it down. Ignore onscreen options to Restart and any black screens. The red LED will flash, then release top key as soon as you see the white BlackBerry 10 logo right afterward.

Swipe down and open Settings. Security and Privacy, Scroll around and find Security Wipe. It can take anywhere from up to an hour to 5 or 6 hours depending on how much data needs to be erased.

Is it the same (or even better) if i'd just enter the blackberry link on my computer and press factory reset?

They're probably equivalent. Do you have data that needs backing up first?

If not, just do the Security Wipe as described above and don't bother connecting to PC.

You might speed the process if you clean up manually first. Erase as many files as you can and UNinstall/delete apps. Then go for it.
