Hey guys, I have a question,

I have a factory unlocked z10 on the wind network. Ever since I put the sim in, ive had the wind splash screen pop up upon booting up, and I also have the wind wallpaper. When I was on bell, it didnt do this. Eeven when I take out the sim and turn it on, it still has the wind screen

Does this mean my z10 has been branded as a wind phone?

Nope, pop in a rogers sim and you'll get a roger boot up, same with any other sim.

The OS has tons of carrier splash screens and wallpapers built in. Some carriers opted out of this. If you pop your bell sim back in it'll remove that boot screen for bell. It doesn't mean much of anything except that your sim is pulling data to display OS info

Thanks for the quick answers guys! My worry was because bell didnt do it but wind did but I guess its nothing to worry
