Seems rather odd that they would even mention the type of phone that the app was downloaded for. Almost as if it was a Blackberry employee or someone in marketing came up with this story, and ensured the news article specifically mentioned "Blackberry Z10" in the writeup. Suspicious.

It's just like an article where it says "his iPhone provided a camera just in time ". It's just instead of saying a cell phone or something. Stop being such a conspiracy theorist... blackberry wouldn't pay a friggen article writer to right a story about ducks and a Z10

It's NOT like an article you described, as the article you describe only describes the brand of phone "iPhone" not the specific model. i.e. "iPhone 4S". There's a difference. The article in question oddly refers to the phone not simply as a Blackberry, but as a Blackberry Z10.
