The back is getting warm? Mine gets warm when I play games or do a full charge but it does not become uncomfortable and causes me no concern.

(if the device started acting odd when getting warm I would be).

Phone tends to hear up if you use the phone longer than for a long time. I'm assuming you're on the phone a lot cus you just got the phone. Make sure you give your phone some rest.

My phone heats up when playing games or using my z10 for long periods of time. If you are on 10.2, you can check cpu usage within the OS settings. As well, you can download a battery monitor app. I'm using the free version of Battery Lover, the percentage and temperature is enough for me. I would recommend battery guru for you though.

This will be the main thing, as many ppl think that it's the Blackberry mobile's fault. But the inner fact is, the same smartphone will be trying hard to get the signals. If the Blackberry isn't getting good signal strength, then that will hurt ur battery life finally back of ur smartphone gets heated up and this increases pressure on ur battery, which leads to heating of your smartphone(backside)
