I ran some tests on my BlackBerry Z10, I tested how much battery the display consumed on average here's what I found; With 8 tabs open at one time switching between them for 10 minutes doing your average stuff with the battery at 0% it drained 1-2% and with the brightness on full I lost 10%. I then ran a few other tests I left my Z10 in my pocket with swipe to unlock turned on (this means your phone is always on but not lit as it's waiting for your finger to swipe up) and with my brightness at 0% with no usage whatsoever I lost 17% and then with 0% brightness I lost 4%. NOTE: My day test lasted 6 hours. So basically if your unhappy with battery life turn off swipe to unlock lower your brightness and delete accounts your not using.

And maybe BlackBerry should of put a little bit stronger battery to begin with. That may of preventing anyone to have to shut off the swipe feature lol

Yeah it's awful I have a 4500amh battery but it shouldn't have to go that far, the big battery feels clunky and cheap
