When I look at my Z10 Device Monitor, I have very high System usage (55%) also very high Display usage (35%) and my Standby usage is 22%. My wife has a Q10 and her three numbers are below 10% and her battery will outlast mine in a big way. Does anyone have any idea why my System, Display and Standby numbers are so high??? I did a battery pull last night to see if things would reset, but no help. Thanks

Have you recently updated the OS? Is it a new phone? If it is just setup or you just installed and update, the phone is just indexing everything and it will go back to normal in a few days. If not we would need more details.

Come on man, that's 112%! Please switch to "since last charge" to get accurate information based on a 100%...

You can turn down the backlight to gain some advantage in that aspect. How often do you check on email?

Also download TaskManager from appworld and check what Android apps are running in the background. Pressing on the app can allow you to kill it. Some pop back regularly.

The Z10 is on Verizon and is over a year old. The OS was updated w/ Verizon's release of 10.2 and I'm looking at Battery tab in the Device Monitor.

Come on man, that's 112%! Please switch to "since last charge" to get accurate information based on a 100%...

Be advised Frank that I am looking at "since last charge" which by the way still shows the last fours days of charge/discharge for some reason. And I didn't mention that in addition to the above % you can add another 18% for PIM Services and that puts it way over 100%. Seems pretty strange to me.

When was it updated? That is the important question. If it was in the past few days, all that is going on is the phone is reindexing everything and will eat the battery until it is finished. It typically finishes in one to a few days depending on how much you have on your phone.

The Z was updated months ago when Verizon first released 10.2 for the Z10.

I hope you didn't do a battery pull of old.....

Turn your phone off, when completely shut down, take the battery out for 1 hour.

This will straighten it out. Something is corrupted.
