Z10 - Contacts not saving when adding in phone app

When I try and add contacts on my Z10 from the phone app (i.e. recent calls list or dial pad). I enter the information, hit save, and the contact doesn't appear in any of my contact book or anywhere else on my phone.

Can anyone provide some insight on how to troubleshoot this?

I had the same problem today morning. Just shut your phone and restart it. It will start working.

Same issue for me. I just upgraded to OS v 10.1.0.273 and this is when the problem came up.

Doing a hard reset (hold the power button for 15 seconds, till red LED) fixed the problem.
