I just got my z10 and loaded up 10.2.1.2142 right out of the gate.

Once I finally got Link working (it was alllllways crashing....) the contacts and calendar sync with my z10 and Outlook takes 45 minutes!!! I only have a hundred or so calendar items and 1800 contacts, but seriously - even after it's all sync'd up, just doing another sync with no changes STILL takes 40 minutes!

Is anyone experiencing similar behviour? I got so fed up i finally set up an ActiveSync with Outlook.com and disabled my Link syncing, but I'm just wondering if this is something others have experienced....i'd really prefer to keep my stuff local, rather then have to sync to the cloud.

The cloud sync works nice. When you make updates and new contacts it all happens live. Manual sync is. Great too but I always found there was inexplicable data loss with two way sync, so I would have to just remember which end I had been updating and do one way sync.

ya, got my Z10 syncing nicely with outlook.com...just trying to figure out why Link took 45 minutes each time....and forced me to outlook.com...

My experience is that, on the initial sync, it takes quite a while. But after that, it's not such a long process.
