    I have had a z10 for quite a while now with problems. But suddenly when I press the camera icon it has started taking a picture immediately without me pressing anything. Which usually means a picture of my knee or the floor. Have trawled the settings and internet posts but can't seem to find out how to stop it doing it. Any suggestions. Thanks

    Sorry. There is nothing to stop the Z10 from doing that. Mine takes pictures when i put it down on aflat hard surface. The camera opens and shoots pics. Only thing you can do is lock the keyboard witht the button at the top and as for the rest of the unwanted pics....DELETE!

    Z10 is very very sensitive with the camera. And dialing! But thats another story!

    try a restart. press vol up and down together and keep holding until blue logo

    What os are you using?.. some update fix weird problems like that. I am on 10.2.1.56, never had any problems since.

    Currently on 10.2.1.2012 says it's latest. Restart worked thanks F2 I should have thought of that duh

    That would suggest a hardware issue to me Jaydee, at least on your phone. Had my Z10 for 14 months now and I never get any unwanted photos except when I press the screen in camera mode by mistake before I am ready.

    A restart normal gets you out of any of these small little glitches that occur from time to time on BlackBerry phones.
