Hi, not sure if this has been posted but I discovered by accident (yes I haven't read the manual yet hehe) that the volume buttons function as shutter keys when using the camera.

    Cheers,

    Jo

55 days with Z10 and I didn't know that. Thanks for the tip, it's very handy.

BTW, was it ever mentioned on one of Crackberry 101's? Or did they miss this one out too?

You are all most welcome! I enjoy reading tips and tricks here and glad to put something back. I was gonna take a pic of my lunch (I know, I know...) but wanted to silence the shutter sound and suddenly the camera fired when I hit the vol (-) button then tried it with the top vol button (+) and it fired as well! Cool, I thought. The middle button doesn't work though.

    Cheers.

P.s. Can you turn the shutter sound silent? Can't seem to figure out how.

Nope... it's not an option. But you can get an app for it! "silent foto" in app world!

Oh ok. Thanks! I'll look it up. It's not a problem though if I'm taking pics in a blues bar in Bangkok. Haha.
