I definitely prefer the grip of the black battery cover. I had a white loaner phone from Telus and felt like I was always gonna drop it

If at&t had a white one I would have got that one. Kind of got stuck with black but at least black won't look as dirty as white.

I have a white one with a black battery cover. When I bought it used on eBay the white ones were selling for about $50 less than the black ones for some reason, so I bought the white one. White wasn't my first choice but given the option now, I'd have trouble trading it for a black Z10.

Oh, and the white cleans up easily. I work on my cars all the time, and my phone tends to get oily and dirty pretty quick, but everything I've stuck to it wipes off with ease and looks like new again.

White looks cool.. black is more professional. So in my opinion when you have a blackberry you want to look more professional than flashy. Stick with black

Different material. They have to use different materials on whites because it'll get stained with dye from jeans and such. Did same thing with 9900
