I have STL100-1, now on official OS 10.2.0.415.
After days, maybe around 4 or 5, my Z10 become very warm out of blue. Sometimes reaching 42 degree celcius. With minion rush on, the phone would reach 45 46 celcius. Never had this happened on 10.1

Hmm that is odd. Has a power cycle reboot not fix it?

What do you mean by power cycle reboot?
I have tried rebooting at least 10 times, still no luck

What emails account are setup on the phone.

Is this on a BES10 server?

The reason I ask if in our environment when emails get stuck and don't go to the phone it cause this heating up as the phone is trying to pull emails from the server and is unable to.

    Hi there,

I am just facing the same experience as you. Is it a 10.2 issue or something wrong with the Z10?

    Thx
