Is it only me, or Z10 users are having such a bad battery life?
Sometimes just at night full loaded, closed all App and in the morning 30%, which means 70 % of the battery was consumed by doing nothing!!! During the day even worse, I even bought one of those Power Banks and it's always in my Bag, Coz I ain't going far with this phone.
Is it probably time to move forward? Any recommendations?
I have to have the pick and flow and the Hub, otherwise, no chance, had anyone heard about the new HTC One M8? Or any new device? Samsung?

If battery is a concern, you should get a Z30, one of the best battery on the market. And yeah, the Z10 battery does sucks.

If you can install OS 10.2.1.2228 of higher.
This really makes a differences.
With the OTA update of OS 10.2.1.2021, I can't barely make it to the next day.
But with OS 10.2.1.2234 i can get is easy running 2 days.

You either don't use your phone much, or you have an after market battery. But i can't believe a poweruser with the stock battery can manage to go that long with a z10.

Z30 will do the trick. Awesome battery life.
On 4G network with tons of calls and texting. Browsing and etc. No fb and twitter and IG though for me.

The phone actually turned off after about 15 mins on 0%. I don't think the hours indicator is very accurate.

Funny you say that my battery or shall I say z10 usually shuts off at 10% battery life left.

I'm averaging about 3 battery swaps a day on my BlackBerry. 2 on a good day!

Check to see what your updates are set at on your social media. You also may have an app that has a compatability issue with the OS and it can be causing the battery drain. Or it could a corrupted OS.

It's a tedious solution, but if you have added any apps, you might delete them all and see how the phone responds. If battery life improves, then add the apps one at a time allowing a few hours in between app installations (or a day) to see if your battery life improves.

Newcollector, that sounds great idea, but I don't have much time to do that, I want my phone to function, and function properly, I have this Z10 since the very beginning, pre-ordered, and never was so bad the battery life till last cpl of months, I think I'll move forward.

Remus, that means that if you buy a car and you cannot drive it for certain reason, when you take your car to the dealer or to the mechanic, you would be satisfy if they tell you: sorry, we have sold a million of this type of car, it is only you the one complaining. Really!?!?!
Walk home it is not an option for me buddy. I've been using BlackBerry since 2007, loyal to the brand and I have had second devices all the time, but at this moment, I'm not satisfied with the battery life of my Z10 and I don't find time to buy a second device, so I'm asking here for solution, help, if you cannot help, skip the comments.
PS: I've deleted a cpl of Apps already, let's see what happens.

I don't want a phone the size of the Z30. I want a longer lasting battery in my Z10. But one of my favorite features of most BlackBerrys is the removable battery so I'm good.

This is what you can do:
- delete Android apps, they suck out juice like a baby on..
- there's also some games that suck the battery dry
- use a low brightness indoors (outdoors on full if you wish to see anything)
- disable swipe to unlock (this really helps if you tend to look at your lock screen a lot)
- disable WiFi when not available
- disable NFC and Bluetooth
- delete Social Media accounts (or at least the HUB sync)
- change email sync interval on less important accounts
- also set sync interval to manual on apps like CB10

Also consider the fact you probably abuse the cr*p out of it (as I assume we all do in here). With all the abuse, battery life on the Z10 is still better than most with bigger batteries.

Also consider a Battery Charger Bundle if you don't already have one. If you really need a full day of abuse on a single charge, go for the Z30. You'll have to do way less than what I said you could do for your Z10.

And don't believe people who show a picture of the Device Monitor showing a full day on one charge with the Z10. They don't use their phone. They really don't. At least not with the stock battery that is.

Edit: and don't forget to close Active Frames as much as possible! Resource hogs, especially those with changing content.
