What is a normal percentage per hour for battery drain on the Z10? I left my office at 6:00pm, barely used the phone and in less than 45 minutes is at 87%. At this rate my phone will last about 4-5 hours. I have two batteries so I think something is wrong with the phone. May need to use my Q10 till the Passport is available in the USA.

    On 10. 3.1.938 it's about 17 hours with 4g turned on.
On 10.2.1.2977 it was less about 12 hours with 4g off.
    So it's improving here

Strikkie, is your information and comparison of battery timing of 10.21 and 10.3 is for BlackBerry z10? And is this the valid and tested fact, bcoz, if it's true, I will surely jump to leaked 10.3 for my Z10STL100-1/10.2.1.3247..

I feel sorry for everybody posting here thinking that heavy drain is normal. No its not normal. 1% per hour is normal when phone sits idle. And you don't need to install leaked 10.3 to get this. I have this on any 10.2 rev.

    There is a difference.
There is idle when you don't use your phone. The battery drain at that point should be as low a possible.
When you use it, call, text etc there are more processes active, think about screen, data connection, system processes etc, the battery drains more at that point.
When you play games a lot battery draining is often higher due to higher processor usage, screen etc.

When there is excessive draining, like an empty batt in like 5 hours, the search begins
Start at the device monitor which processes eat the battery.
