When I charge My Z10 the battery shows full, when I unplugg it 5 min later it turns to red, but it does not shut down, I could still use it the whole day as normal, but still displaying red and empty. I am guessing this is a software glitch since the battery is not actually empty but only displaying that it is empty. ANY THOUGHTS ANYONE!!!!!!!!

I would suggest rebooting the phone

Try a top button reboot. Hold the top power button down, even after it shuts down and starts rebooting. Keep it pressed down until you see the circle startup screen with the blue progress line scrolling around it. Let the power button go now ans see what the battery says now.

Tried rebooting as mentioned by patman1200 as well as removing the battery and reinserting. Did not work with both!!
