Now that the phone is approaching a year old, do you think your Z10 holds up in terms of today's usage needs? Has it been put into a drawer while you use a different platform, or has it been your daily driver still?

The z10 holds it's ground for what it needs to do. It is a solid phone. Always will be. BBOS is made to run mid range specs very efficiently like Windows phone. Only it runs faster. With better multitasking ability!

The Z10 and BB10 has made big strides for a platform less than a year old. Works for me. Sticking with it. Hoorah!

My Z10 just keeps getting better all the time as the updates keep coming. No plans to switch to anything else. Well maybe the Z30 but I'm curious to see what may be around the corner next year. Rocking with my Z10 & 64GB Playbook...

I have been using the Z10 and the S4 (my fiance's)...the only thing I want that's on the S4 is Deer hunter 2014 (it isn't working on 10.2.1.1055 on either my STL100-1 or STL100-2, I know it worked on earlier leaks). Though, I'm okay with it because my fiance is an astrology fan and can't have StarTracker and is insanely jealous! haha

I just told her to sell her S4 and buy a Z30...problem solved. haha

I think it is holding up well as an OS and a device. I'm able to play Nova 3 and Modern Combat 4 with absolutely no stuttering...it is glorious! Those are some taxing games! My battery life isn't actually bad. It is better than any phone I've had before; and I'm doing a lot more on my Z10.

All in all, I'm really liking the device. Wish I had a Z30, but I'm happy with the Z10.

You willing to sacrifice the higher pixel resolution on the Z10 for the Z30?

I believe BB improved BB10 vastly since first issue supplied with the phone (I run 10.2.1.1055). I had to get used to (not hard especially after using PB for a year). Now I cannot cope with other platforms iOS/Android - they seem to be illogical to me - just my point of view.

I guess if pixel count is someone's thing. Other than that the 30 has much more than the 10.

I am still loving my Z10. The updates have made it better. Keeps my life well organized and a fantastic communication device. I am waiting for the official 10.2 update from Tmobile. Tried loading leaks twice and had issues. No matter, I am still very happy.

Very happy with my Z10. Spend too much time on it actually. Every spare minute. Even the battery has settled in well and doesn't die as fast as in the beginning.

The Z10 has held up just fine for me over the last 11 months. It's only gotten better with the OS updates, and the app situation while not great, is better than it was with BBOS. While it doesn't have the flat out speed of some of the other devices I've had the pleasure of using, I rarely feel it's lacking with its smooth, fluid OS. I could probably use it for another year and be fine with it. All that said, I did pick up a Nexus 5 a few weeks ago so that I could just swap the SIM between the two whenever I felt like it. It's becoming progressively more difficult to take the SIM out of the N5 and put it back into the Z10 as time goes by.

Eleven months in and it's really becoming a class device. In fact my teenage daughter wants one for Christmas. Yes she'll need to sideload a couple of apps but there's not a lot that she can't get easily.

So there is no way that mine is going to hit the draw anytime soon!

    Hasn't been eleven months but 10 full, N est-pa?

End of February = 2 less than 12 months equals 10mths

Either way the OS make the experience worth it. But lots of improvements and a REAL consumer infrastructure or ecosystem is needed.

Proper bookmark importing support and backup restore please.
Ability for Link to state the amount of content for each category was backed up (i.e. 909 emails, 1000 contacts, 200 appointments, 2000 meetings/409 recursive, etc)

BB10 is begging for a 1080P resolution even for 4.2/5" screens.

It's been the best phone I can ask for. BlackBerry 10 is a great platform and it's been getting better And better. I'm planning to get a q10 and Z30 and Q5 and switch between them depending on my mood and activity for the day. I see myself using these phone two years down the road still. Won't switch to any other os/brand any time soon.
