Sorry if this has already been discussed but it took me a while to figure out that you can't tether the Z-10 and PlayBook together. Thought I was doing something wrong when I was on hold with Telus I thought Hmmm let's try setting my Z-10 up as a hot spot and voila it works that way instead of tethering. Just thought I would post this if anyone else is having issues.

I've always had greater success with personal hot spots versus tethering. Even between the PlayBook and my old iphone4.

My bridge works for that as well, although I wish it was as gully functional as on my 9930. Liked seeing who was calling me on my PlayBook..

My pb uses bridge version of tether to my z10 just fine as well and has since release.

I'm the same as KermEd....
I have my bluetooth enabled and the BlackBerry Bridge downloaded on the Z10.
Bluetooth enabled on the PlayBook and it works for me, well there is a loss of functionality from the former BlackBerry's of the past.

But I find using the hot spot just uses more power.

Bridge works for me flawlessly. I miss the old Bridge functionality with my 9900. Not sure why this can't be done anymore.

I've used the hotspot option on my z10 for my playbook and it works flawslessly. What is difference using it for tethering?

Once your z10 is connected to your playbook via blue tooth and the bridge . It is using data from the phone.
