I am using 10.3.0.1418 on Z10STL -2, overall is smooth, but in many cases it gets slow, do example, the keyboard. And Web browsing.
Have you tried Windows Phone or iPhone? I think they are both faster than Z10.

Maybe update your OS to 10.3.1...I think it's a lot faster than you describe.

Web browsing ( the scrolling part) seems to lag after some browsing. I usually restart the browser and everything gets back to normal.

Laggy? Not at all, mobile data for me is the laggy one. But the unit itself is okay. Maybe sometimes while running android apps, but does not matter, it's still fast for me.

In my experience 10.3.0.1418 (official Passport OS) actually works better on a Z10 than popular 10.3.1.1151 leak. Today's smartphones are much like computers and the more apps you load the slower they get. How many background processes and apps you have running simultaneously is something we don't know. I have about 50-60 apps on the phone including system apps; with no power or CPU hungry background processes everything runs nice and smooth. And browsing on LTE is a pleasure even on heavy content pages.

Too many issues reported in "Findings and Fixes" thread with this leak, unfortunately.

The 10.3.0 line have leggy keyboard issues. This is fixed on the latest 10.3.1 leaks. Don't know what was wrong but it's a lot better. Now the app tile screen lags though. There's a stutter. Or maybe it's just mine because I did a blitz update and it got stuck halfway the first time and got into a boot loop that I got out of by pure luck.

Lagging, yes it can get slow, but I also find, especially with particular core apps it crashes.

I am running on the latest update, 10.2.1.3062, but was even occurring with the previous os; that sometimes bbm, or the phone function just freezes.

I can use other apps, get into hub, but can't make a phone call. I can close the app but when I reopen, nothing has changed. Recently the key pad just froze, couldn't dial at all or get back to missed calls. But, through contacts app I could dial out. The only solution was to reboot.

More so then in the past.

Always did think the hardware was sub-standard and as BB10 grows it will show this to be even more true.

I have tried for a few days each one of the most popular 10.3.1 leaks (clean autoloader installation) and none of them is as smooth as 10.2.1. Many people won't even notice it, but the lag is there. The difference is similar to playing a video game on 30fps and 60fps. In all 10.3.1 leaks the UI is "skipping frames". I'm sorry, but I have very good eyes and what I see is far for smooth UI.

Believe it or not, official 10.2.2.1609 (regional release) OS is giving me the best battery life and the best signal reception. I'm going to test this OS for a longer period and if it gives constant good results, than I have no interest to upgrade to the flat and minimalistic 10.3.1. I don't care how good Android apps run on 10.3.1. They run much better on my HTC One, that's for sure.

I agree 10.2 was much smoother. 10.3 seems "jerky" and apps hang for a while at times.

Yes, I know it's beta, doh! But this is feed back.

10.2.2 is indeed the best OS for me. Very good signal reception and great battery life.

After many days of experiments I found the two best running OS versions for Z10 to be 10.2.2.1609 (from all 10.2.x) and 10.3.0.1418 (from all 10.3.x). The first one is latest official Z10 OS in regions of Europe, second one is current official Passport OS. Both have smooth UI (10.2.2.x is best, 10.3.0.x is OK), very good battery life and signal reception. Also, virtual keyboard performance in 10.2.x is much better than in 10.3.x. It's probably related with the all round UI lag in all 10.3.x versions.

    How about that?

It's Saturday today, light use, about 40min total phone calls, 4-5 emails received, 10-12 texts sent, a little CB10, few Google web searches, few Google Maps searches. Power saving settings: swipe-to-wake - off, wifi/nfc/bt - off, HSPA+ network, screen brightness about 65%, screen-off time is set to 5min. Phone is currently running 10.2.2.1609 OS. On regular business day I'm getting 12-15h battery life with 1-2h phone calls and 1-2h screen-on time. Z10 is a phone and communication device and I this is what I use it for. No complaints about battery life.
