Is your BBM list growing?
And I'm not talking strangers, I'm talking people you actually know in person. I've had 24 peeps return to my BBM. Most had BlackBerry before and most of them went to iphone and have now returned.
About a third are new to BlackBerry and loving it. Again most of these people came from iphone.
One was HTC and the remainder were Samsung.
How bout you?

I've owned both a 9530 and a 9930 in the past, and have never used BBM (I know that's heresy to you guys here).
I just have never knew anyone else that had used blackberry and BBM, and I have no desire to talk to random people.

Not yet, but the BBM groups I belong to are getting maxed out again. I don't know too many people on AT&T. Verizon and US Cellular are the more common carriers in this area. Hopefully numbers will pick up after Verizon releases the Z10.
Too bad US Cellular hasn't picked up the Z10 yet. I know more people on USCC than others.

Since I'm in the UAE which is like one of the strongholds of BlackBerry, my list has stayed the same. Every one either owns BlackBerry + iPhone/Samsung or just BlackBerry, so virtually everyone is on BBM. I am starting to notice a lot more Z10s in people's hands though.

Some interesting things going on. Maybe I'm a good salesman or something, lol. Everywhere I go I pull out my Z10 and start to do something. Most people ask ' is that the new BlackBerry?' and so my demo begins. If they don't ask I'll slide in there, have you seen one of these yet? After the show I hand it over and everyone is very impressed.
All my friends and coworkers are coming back. I have a few holdouts but I know they were impressed. One of my buddies went and bought one, gave his wife his Samsung. She promptly quashed that and took the Z10. I enjoy talking to him through her, lol.
As for seeing them in the wild, I'm starting to see more and more. I live in Durham region and work in Toronto. Seeing them makes me smile every time

I did reunite with someone on BBM. She went to iphone and I to android. We stayed in touch via Twitter but now have BBM back. Quite nice.

Lolz its a well known fact that these days Blackberries are mostly associated with the younger generation me being aged 22 with over 80 contacts I used to have 200+ in 2010 I knw a few with Z10's on my list u can tell by BBM video icon next to their name ad only the z10 has a front facing camera or am I mistaken?
Posted on CB10 via Z10
Yes Z10 has forward facing camera and the video icon shows up next to their name in BBM.
In 2010 I had over 200 contacts. About half were friends and coworkers. The other half were groups and peeps from all over the world. I had my old 9000 rained on and lost my entire list.
Right now I have people from Nigeria, Thailand, South Africa, US and Canada of course. No one from UK or Australia yet but I will. It's fun chatting and sharing pics with people all over the world. Clean pics you dirty minds!
As much as I like Whatsapp and hookt, they are no BBM. Always loved BBM, Z10 has made it even better!

BBM needs to just be integrated with text message like imessage. Otherwise my list will sit at 0 forever.
