Are you leaving an Android or iOS device for this?

I havent seen any threads like this yet and I am trying to get an idea of what people are switching from to this phone. I myself am leaving my Nexus 4 for this. While I have been a die-hard Android fan for a few years now, I am bored and really miss some things about the BB devices I used in the past.

I will be sidelining my beloved Note 2. Definitely keeping it though. Thing about Android they will have a BB10 launcher that will work good just like wp8. Won't be the full experience though which is why I plan to get the real z10 on release day :-)

9810 to Z10. But I've seen a surprising amount of iOS and Android users interested in BlackBerry 10, this bodes well for RIM!

Not only am I leaving iOS for BB10... I already have left. News of the launch rekindled my BB feelings so much I bought a used 9700 and playbook and threw my iPhone and iPad in closet. I couldn't be happier to rejoin all my BBM contacts and become part of the chosen few who appreciate truly wonderful devices.

I've had a bold 9900, then htc titan windows 7.5, then android (sg3 and note2), then htc 8x windows 8.0 in the span of 1 year. While I do like the windows mobile os with the live tiles, smoothness, and call quality, peek-flow, hub, and that beautiful predictive text keyboard is winning me back to bb10!

I'll definitely be leaving my iPhone 5 for a new BB10 device, but I'm still waiting to see how accurate text input is on the Z10. That's really important to me. If it's not at least up to par with the iPhone's accuracy, I'll wait it out for the QWERTY packing X10. I'd buy a 9900 right now and use that until I get my hands on a new device, but I can't find any for a low enough price.

I'm going from my Bold 9900 to my white Z10! Went from 7100t serious to, a Red pearl, then Gold curve, then Bold 9000, then Bold 9790, now Bold 9900. I almost left blackberry after my bold 9000 for an iphone 4 or htc evo. But I heard about the 9900 coming so I held on. I'm glad I held on for BB10.

Had a Storm for 3 years (actually loved it until the camera kept crashing the device and after 2 replacements kept doing the same thing, I sure did miss suretype), then I went to the iPhone 4 when verizon received it. I had waited for BlackBerry to release a new model for 2 years, and grew tired of waiting.

So I'll be trading up this 2 year old iPhone 4 for a Black Z10 as soon as I can! I sure do miss feeling productive on a real smartphone!

I'm not totally sure yet, but if the BB10 announcement wows me tomorrow I'll be giving my mom my iPhone 5 and picking up a Z10 as soon as it comes to Verizon.

iPhone 4 to z10. I can't wait as I have become bored of iOS and don't feel it innovates anymore and feel the iPhone 5 is just a thinner slightly faster version of the phone I have so not worth buying.

Depending on how the BB10 does the first few months I will be dumping my Torch 9850 for the BB10. The Torch in my opinion was what the Storm should have been but was not...and had one of those too. If all the accounts are correct that the BB10 will leapfrogs over its competition I will get one however if the BB10 has problems running android apps and plagued with problems its going to be Samsung Galaxy S3 for me.
