yep, just downloaded it.
man, that was fast!
Do you need to keep the app active to receive notifications?
BB must have fixed it since VZW did not offer an update
Nope :D
is it still an Android port?
No not so far that I've tested on Verizon. I'm looking for a way to delete or modify "Favorites" though. It imported everyone from my contacts. My favs list on my 4s was far shorter and I can't seem to adjust it

Great question... for now, I plan to avoid 'Droid ports until this random rebooting situation is properly identified and a remedy suggested.
Verizon that is.
Reply Quote fail... sorry
It's working for me on Verizon, who hoo!

It wasn't an Android port to begin with
It was never an Android port...
Edit: someone beat me to it.
Whatsapp was updated today, that's why it's now working on verizon

I do not need to keep it open in an active frame for it to work

Suhhhh-weet!
It's native and it might be missing a couple of features for now but at the speed we are receiving updates, I won't be surprised they will show up soon. Also, as opposed to other platforms, WhatsApp can remain closed and will still works! It all goes through the Hub... I rarely run the app!

Im not getting any messages when the app is closed. Doing a restart now to see if that fixes anything.
Oh. I thought i read one post that said it was. My mistake. I just dont want to download free or paid ports. I wish they were identified as such in BB World. And if they are I missed that too. Thanks for clearing the port issue up with this one for me though.
I'm on T-mobile and just received the update myself, downloading now
Was it ever?
Aparently not "BannedForNoReason2"cleared that misconception,on mypart, up for me.
I also don't like to install android ports.
how do i get Whatsapp and Smoothie on my blackberry Z10 ?
