Not right away, but technically it isn't out for BlackBerry devices yet either. Channels is still in beta, and should be released in the coming months.

Still, channels won't work in every region, so it is very small chance that cross platform BBM will come with them at release. Maybe if BlackBerry rolls out cross platform BBM earlier then channels, it will be mass update to them on cross platform bbm and on the native BlackBerry one
