Yes! Looking at the screen real estate on the Z10, I could never go back to the reduced screen that qwerty models are forced to have. It's the reason why I've used a Torch for the last 2.5 years - and the reason I am going all touch with the Z10 now that its virtual keyboard has been shown to be excellent!
my first and only full touch screen phone was a LG VU. not a high end phone but was actually a very good phone for it's price back in the day. but now I am VERY ready to upgrade my 9900 to the Z10
Yep, that is assuming the actual N series or X10, whatever you want to call, doesn't steal the show in final form. I have a feeling I'll be going the Z10 route regardless though.
yes, the Z10 would be my first all touch screen "super smart phone". As soon as a slider BlackBerry 10 phone come out, i'll be getting that too.

yep 1st all touchscreen
Will go all touch and get a x10 for my business and will have both.
This will be my first all touchscreen smartphone. I've gotten pretty good typing on my PlayBook and I'm really liking the new keyboard on the Z10.
Yes. I had the 9700 and then the 9900. Choosing the Z10 over the X10 was a tough decision.
Had a windows mobile phone PPC-6700
Besides my playbook i guess it will be my 1st venture into a full fledged touch screen cell phone
Z10 for the win
It will be my first full touch screen, yes. I have a 9810 and love the keyboard plus larger touch screen.
I have an ipad that I HATE TYPING ON- I hope that I don't feel that way with the z10.
1 more day!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I have a Playbook but the Z10 will the first all touch smartphone I get ! I had gotten the Torch 9800 to ease my transition to full touch, however I didn't like the touch kb on it, so I kept using the physical kb ! I know that I'll like the Z10's kb just from the way it is designed !!! Can't wait for the Launch !!!
same here :D
Z10 all the way
I had a Motorola A1000 many years back, and the excellent original LG Viewty, but 9800 is the best of both worlds!
Physical keyboard hidden behind a huge screen? Brilliant idea!
But i cannot wait to see if they release a slider, Z10 for me!

this will be my 2nd go at a touchscreen phone in 4 yrs...I 1st left a pearl 9300 to try a samsung Behold and hated it like cartman hates hippies due to it's quick battery drain and was just hard to navigate, and thick as a brick...after that i returned it for a Curve and returned that for a bold 9700 and lately the constant hour glass (although it's a clock), and the low memory in addition to the memory leak which has me pulling the battery every 3 days has gotten on my last nerve...i'm hoping the z10 will rectify all my issues...although I'm hoping for a slider version eventually...
p.s.
I have yet to pay more than 50 bucks on ANY phone i've ever owned, the fact that i haven't upgraded in 4yrs i'm expecting t-mobile to give me a great deal on it. ;)
No, no worries anymore. The brief experience I had trying out a 9850 Torch dispelled my original anti-touchscreen-only stance. Once I discovered haptic feedback the barn door was blown open. I could not 'feel' the input when I tried an iPhone, and combined with the small screen, set me against virtual typing, initially. Then I tried a 9850, and that led to using an Android when they had the baseball fiasco last year. I dual-carried Android and BB until I had to give our son my spare line, and I've been on a Galaxy SIII until we see BB 10 in the flesh.
Now I enjoy the extra screen room when viewing or playing, and a physical keyboard has moved down my list of requirements; substantially. Do not fear trying to enjoy the change, as BB looks to have made a transition to an even more advanced virtual keyboard, and I look forward to the experience.
yep, will be my first all-touch. had a HTC Touch Dual, first smartphone, then a Samsung Entro(:&)
Yup, even though I don't like typing on my iPad or Playbook I am hopeful the z10 onscreen keyboard will be great
It'll be my first all touch phone. What has convinced me is 1, it's the first BB10 out & 2, the word predictive keyboard.
My Torch 9800 is my first and only BB so far, I was very much a Nokia fan before. I like the Torch for its input options and I will miss the physical keyboard, but I'm not a heavy typist and the bigger screen on the Z10 will be more useful to me.
No .. I've had a Nokia 5800 XpressMusic and my current N8 previously ... also my Playbook so touch devices are col in my book :)
PS .. of course with modern phones it's just as easy to simply dictate your texts, emails, dialing needs etc
yes... first one in 10 years ...
Yeah, to both of you, typing on an iPad (or any tablet) is different then on a 4 inch phone. It feels better.
I've owned an iphone and the torch slider (I know you said all touch).
