I have issues with slow connection when connected to my home Wifi. My connection is so slow that it could take up to 1 minute to load a CB article. The problem only seems to apply when I'm using Apps other than the browser. And that tells me that it's a software issue with BB10. I only have this problem on my home Wifi, other Wifi networks that I connect to work fine.

    Things I have tried:
    Resetting my modem
Changing the router from Dual Band to 5Ghz
Changing connection settings on Z10 to 5GHz
Changing the channel of my router
Connecting other devices to Wifi (it works fine)

Anybody have the same issue, or has any ideas of what could be wrong?

try changing the channel of your wifi.

somehow when i use channel 12 and above BB can't detect that the wifi existed.
if i use lower channel it works fine...

    hope it helps

Not having this issue. Are you set to N, G or mixed mode? It should work with any but worth a try.

My router only has options starting from channel 30. How do I choose a lower channel?

I tried mixed and N only, but I still have the same issue.

Did you try G? (N should work, though). And, as others are asking, what brand of router?

Try changing the wireless network mode to bg-mixed. That should give you the option to use lower channels. Somehow BlackBerry doesn't work well with wireless N..... in my case anyway =p

You are right, It seems to have worked with a Wireless G-only network mode. I also had to disable the 5Ghz Network mode.
Thank you everyone for your help!

Here are the settings I used (for those with the same issue as I had):

Yeah. 5ghz mode tends to be problematic with bb. Glad it's working for you =p
