z10 - when i try to call from contact list, i just get a message that my call can't be completed. It will work if i hard dial the number? no new apps. downloaded os upgrade last night but did not fix problem

Have you tried adding or removing the country code from the contacts phone number? That's the only thing I can think of right off hand.

it does appear to be something with the country code. never had the issue before....

not sure how to turn off country code. have rebooted and reset, but i dont think i can turn off. the phone will dial if i manually dial numbers, but not automatically from contacts etc.

You need to edit manually the contact and delete the + ## that comes before the number.
