    How long has it been since you used your Z10? If it has sat long enough, it could be that the battery is completely dead. In that case, you will need to do what is known as "stack charging". I did this with my Z10 after it sat for months. I stack charged it for a few minutes and it finally got enough charge to start up on its own. Its a time consuming, pain in the **** process, but it has worked for me numerous times and even worked on a display Playbook at a Rogers store that had left it to die.
