Just curious if anyone is planning to get a z30 even if you already have a z10?

If I was a new buyer, that would be different but I don't think I will upgrade.
I like my z10, the screen is big enough. It is fast already.

But, I know some will make the upgrade so just curious why? I moslty wonder why it is worth the expense to you?

My question is why buy Z30 hardware wise other S4 and 5S.

What makes this phone better and different hardware wise. BB10 OS in my opinion is already better than IOS and android.

Much bigger battery,amoled, that right there is a lot more battery life. Rumored to contain a quad core gpu... should be excellent for games

I am getting it only if the price is right when I am ready in January.

Why I am interested:

Bigger screen. This should give me a roomier keyboard.
Bigger battery. Should give me that old time BlackBerry battery life.

Hoping for a better camera and better speakers as well.

Plus I like what they did with the Z10, really want to see what the next generation of BB10 does too.

There a few different hardware configurations of the z30 being tested ( some of which are pretty powerful) Despite a lot of talk about unimpressive and outdated hardware based off leaks and rumors the final specs at launch may turn out to be a pleasent surprise for many!

It's 720p resolution isn't lower.... it's the pixels per inch that is lower.

I'm not a fan of monster phones, I love the size of the Z10 and it would take a huge spec bump to get me to consider one, which the Z30 doesn't have. Apparently it will have a slight processor bump, and a bigger battery, but that is likely to be negated by the huge screen. Also seems to have pretty generic big black slab hardware styling. I see nothing at this point that would make me want to switch.

I see the z30 as a different model, not an upgrade per se.

I like the smaller z10 myself.

Battery was one concern but that has improved since the last update

I would have gone with a s4 if I wanted a phone that large. The size of the z10 was the final nudge that moved me back to trying a BlackBerry again.

Okay, it should be an impressive specs, but just in comparison with the existing BBRY devices. I don't think that's enough to convice users from other platforms to switch.
BBRY maybe has their own logic when staying out of the specs race, but it shouldn't be that much "modest".

I do like the variety of options tough.
Apple still doesn't really give you variety. Sure the new 5c is a bit different but not really much different than putting a case on it an regular iPhone.

5inch screen with BlackBerry10? That's gesture heaven! Much better battery life! And the bigger screen ofcourse! Pretty excited for it! Only downside is amoled aghhhh, but I understand l!

When I asked why, I really meant it. I think the z30 looks like a great device.

I won't be getting it I don't think but I am sure it will be nice for those thay don't have a BB10 already, and for those that can afford to upgrade.

No way would I upgrade to a Z30. They should have made a slider. They could have shown the die hard qwerty users how good the Z10 touch screen is but at the same time had the best if both worlds.

I'm not taking about a 9810 clone. I'm talking about something beautiful and powerful and ahead of every tech out there to where everyone had to have that phone.

I will probably go for it because I am feeling some over-the-top loyalty toward the BB10 platform.

I normally am pretty relaxed about things and don't get too wrapped up in corporate logos/identities, but for some reason I really want to see BB10 succeed.

I love my Z10 and do not really want to get a bigger phone, but I know when I look at the Z30 in person it will probably be game over for me.

Plus, I am single at the moment. So, the Z30 just might be my Christmas gift to myself.
