Assuming that windermere rumour and those pictures of that weird phone are legit - and assuming it is a 1:1 ratio - what are the benefits of this screen . Who would value a 1:1 ratio. This might give some insight into who it is being developed for. I don't get it- but it's a bit of an interesting puzzle.

Nothing new, the q10 & 5 already have a 1:1 screen

They are basically using the same "screen size" as they have always used in all other old legacy BBOS.
But wait, what do I mean?
Well, if you include the trackpad/home/call/end/back row of buttons, then yes, all the old phones were essentially 1:1.
The thought was, since it is a touch screen we are just going to move the physical buttons to touch screen buttons.
